Dear Valued Customer:
Tony Raluy Sr., founder of Tony's Express, began his transportation career, back
in 1926, as an independent trucker servicing New York City and its harbor. He
must have heard Horace Greeley say, "Go west young Man", so in February of 1954,
equipped with a 1951 Studebaker bobtail van, his name on the door and a customer
in need of service, he commenced business in Burbank, California. He quickly grew
the business and needed additional trucks and drivers. His two son's George and
Tony Jr. became an active part of the family business.
On February 13, 1967 Tony Raluy Sr., passed away. Since that time we have continued
to grow and build our business around our most important asset, our people. Through
the years the development and contribution of our people has made our company
a success. As the company has grown, so have many of its people because of our
policy of promoting from within.
Our policy has been designed to encourage our people to stay with us and to contribute
and participate in our growth. We believe our customers sense this and respect
the company and its people for their goals as well as our desire to provide the
finest trucking service available.
As you read our "Mission Statement" below please know that it truly is our goal
to provide a transportation service that is truly unique and special. Everyone
in our company, from top to bottom, is committed to that goal.
To those customers who already utilize and enjoy the benefits of Tony's Express,
thank you. And to those customers who may be considering a change to Tony's Express,
our promise to you is that you will never regret your decision.
Sincerely,
"Our mission is to provide our customers with the most
