Tony's Express is a family owned and operated business that started out as
a Trucking Company. As our business grew, so did the requirements of our customer.
To provide truly complete customer service, we realized the need to expand our
operation into more than just an LTL carrier. One of our early additions was our
warehouse facility, now responsible for a significant percentage of our business.
We know that full service warehousing should include short term and long term
arrangements. In providing both of these, we specialize in the reliable storage
of customer goods.
Although our goods handling specialty is in health, beauty aids and grocery products,
Tony's Express is also rated as a food grade warehouse and manages a wide variety
of those products. As an example of our diversity, we are currently storing bakery
goods, soap, paper products and health and beauty aids.
Even though warehousing provides an important addition to our trucking services,
it is still not enough to fully serve our customers. Therefore, we can further
cater to their needs by offering the following Value Added Services:
- Shrink wrapping
- Labels and stickers (all types)
- Special packaging and handling
Another key element in doing business in the new millennium is a modern data system.
Customers who use our Electronic Data Interchange capabilities find they are greatly
assisted in processing their orders quickly and accurately. Our warehouse staff
is expert in dealing with our IBM AS400 and its data transmissions, thereby insuring
that we ship customer orders on a timely basis.
All of our equipment is company owned and operated. We exclusively employ our
in house staff of qualified personnel. Through the combining or our trucking service
to deliver our customers' products, our warehouse to store them and our computer
system to process them, we know that Tony's Express offers a complete and genuinely
unique package of services. |
